Below are answers to common questions that are asked by hosting customers. Feel Free to Contact Us if you have a question that is not answered below or elsewhere on our site.

- Can I upgrade or downgrade my account if I need to?
Yes, and we do not charge penalties for changing your hosting package.

- What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and PayPal.

- Can I manage my own DNS, or not use your nameservers?
You have full control over your DNS, however we encourage you to use our DNS services so it is easy for us to make adjustments if necessary.

- Do I need to transfer my domain name registrar to be hosted with you?
No. You will be provided with a free domain purchasing account but you do not have to use it if you don't want to.
 
- Will you help me move my site to your servers?
Sure. Contact us, and we will help you move your files.

- Do you allow SSH (shell) access?
Yes. You must fax a copy of a valid US document before we assign root access, and there is a fee for the setup.

- Do you host Windows web sites?
No. At this time we are only offering Linux hosting servers for hosting accounts.
Our Dedicated servers can be ordered as either Red Hat Linux or Windows 2003.

- What is your Price Guarantee?
As long as your account is in good standing with us, we will guarantee that the price you paid for your service at the time you opened your account, will not change. "Good Standing" means that you have not had service disconnection for the history of your account.

- Do you charge late fees or overage fees?
We charge a $5.00 late fee if your payment is not received within our 3-day grace period.
Our fees are defined in our Billing Policy. We do not charge overage fees but we do ask that you upgrade your account if you are receiving messages about overusing your resources.

- What kind of server will my site be hosted on?
Our shared servers are Dell Pentium 4 and Xeons. We do not oversell our servers, and we are very conservative with our system resources. We do not host anyone on Celeron servers.

- Do I need any special software to use your services?
No, Most services are web-based, and you can do just about everything through a web browser. If you will be transferring files, it is best to use an FTP program like WS_FTP.

- Do you offer customized web hosting services?
Absoloutely! Please contact us and let us know your requirements. We will be happy to design a hosting package to fit your needs.

- Will I be charged extra for hosting an ecommerce (shopping) web site?
No. Most of our packages include all 4 shopping cart options. Those are free for you to use within the hosting package of your choice. Large or high traffic shopping sites may be asked to host on a dedicated server.
